Organic Horse Milk
Organic Horse Milk is produced by the undomesticated horses of Sumbawa island. It contains no synthetic chemicals or microbes and is not genetically modified.
Area of Production
The chosen area of production for organic horse milk uses carefuly selected primal forest ( + 25ha) which promise an environment free of non-organic contaminants such as those used in conventional farming. The horses are peminted to live in the wild, with the mares only being captured momentarily- long enought to be milked -hence being returned to their free range.
Organic Food Quality Guarantee
The organic horse milk has already received quality guarantee certification from “ Lembaga Sertificasi Organic” [ trans: Institute of Organic Certification] which requires farmers to apply the system of production, packaging, labeling and marketing appropriate with SNI 01-6729-2000 ( Organic Food Systems) and food safety guarantees from BPOM RI.
The benefits and special properties of organic horse milk
Organic horse milk is highly beneficial for the production of antibodies, strong health and stamina and is also beneficial to those suffering from high cholesterol/ blood preasure, asthma, cancer, tuberculosis, resperotory problems, leukemia, typhus, cholera, disentri, headach as well as liver and kidney problems ( Kosikowski, 1982; Dharmojono, 1993; Riatmiko, 2004; Hermawati, 2005) .
The special properties of undomesticated horse milk are not subject to collection and decay. Although it is not pasturized and does not contain preservatives of any kind it can withstand room tempertature for 1 year. This charateristic may be attributed to the presence of the self sustaining antimicrobial galatoferin which is capable of hindering the growth or destruction of bacteria.

This honey originates from several species of flower ( polynectar) which are found in the vicinity of the area of production. Among others the flowers/ tree include the species: rupi, kataba, jeliti, kesambi and luhur

Source of Nectar
This kind of honey is originated in various flowers of plant types ( Polynectar) found around the production area of organic honey such as Katuba tree, Rupi tree, Luhur tree, Kesabi tree, and Jeliti tree.

This production has obtained certificate of quality guarantee from the “ Organic Certifying Institution” for which farmers must apply Production System, Processing, Labeling and Marketing in accordance with SNI 01-6729-2002 ( Organic Food system) and Food Safety Guarantee from BPOM ( Foods and Drugs Supervisory Agency) of the Republic of Indonesia.
