A very attractive fish, it has a slender, silver body with a tall dark dorsal fin and a horizontal dark stripe on the top and bottom of the deeply-forked caudal fin. They are bottom to mid-level dwellers, and should be fed sinking foods. A heavily planted aquarium is recommended.
