Distribution: Southeast Asia: Malaysia and Singapore. Reported from Sumatra, Indonesia (Ref. 13275).
Diet: Their diet consists of mostly live food, such as brine shrimp. Even though they may eat dried bloodworms, I recommend live food.A voracious eater.
Temperament: Usually aggresive towards smaller fish. Fish its size are usually ignored, but sometimes quarrels may occur between other bettas.

Breeding: Much of its breeding styles are unknown. A buuble nest builder, requiring large spaces.
