The Zorb itself is a PVC inflatable ball with internal ties that act as shock-absorbers, two portholes and an inner ' cockpit' for up to three ' Zorbanauts' . After the Zorb is inflated ( which takes about 15 minutes) it' s placed onto a large square platform at the top of an incline, rather like a golf tee. Once you’ re in the fun really starts as the Zorb is launched down a hill and reaches speeds of up to 50km per hour, while you roll and bounce around inside. The clever bit is that there is an air cushion of two feet between the you and the ground, so you are completely safe!
You can choose between a harness ( strapped in) or hydro ( sloshing about in water) Zorb experience and both are fantastically good fun – the squeals of laughter coming from the zorbs as they rolled down the hill was guaranteed and everyone came out with an enormous grin on their faces. | | |
